Letitia & I (Sharon) have been painting at Katie’s Landing Park-see below. It’s a magical sort of place. Small but artist friendly. We hope to get back there this week to continue painting. Even though it’s been hot, if you paint in the shade, it’s been comfortable. Here is a list of things we have seen or heard: Deer, 2 Gopher Tortise,Turkeys, River Otter, small Gator & lots of grunting Gators, Anhingas, Cormorants, a very loud Frog, Ladybugs, Red -winged Blackbirds, Coots, Purple Gallinule, Dragonflies, Little Blue Herons, Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, a pair of Mottled Ducks, Sand Hill Cranes and leaping Mullet that make us laugh! We’ve also met some interesting people. Watch here for our next painting date & join us.

The other day we saw a river otter cavorting right in front of us, deers, birds of all kinds and the most amazing display of “fish ballet”. Mullet are jumping every couple of seconds, sometimes jumping 4 times in a row. We even had clouds, first thing! Usually we don’t get clouds in Florida til noon time.
